How would you describe your personal style in 3 words?
Simple, funky, sensual
Who or what inspires your style the most?
All the cool girls inspire me! Online, in real life, fake characters in the media, etc.
What is the story behind a favorite piece in your wardrobe?
I have this navy blue sweatshirt I wear all the time because it’s so comfy/versatile. It’s the one I’m wearing in the photos. The weird graphic is what got me. It’s like merchandise from some church, and every single word is a different font with strange coloring. I’m not even that religious but I think it’s kind of funny.
What’s one trend that you are obsessing over right now?
Polka dots have been coming back in certain spaces, and I just think they are sooo cute and flirty. They can make a simple outfit fun.
What’s one item you never leave the house without?
My purse and the millions of lip products inside.
Who’s your style icon?
Audrey Hepburn and Chloe Sevigny.Where is the best place for you to take “fit check” photos?
Anywhere in the city.
If you could design you dream outfit, what would it look like?
Honestly… if I could just design the hauntingly perfect night-gown. It’s pearly white, and a little see-through. Midi length. I could wear it dramatically to bed or I could throw a coat over it and wear it out.
How do you approach curating your Instagram?
As long as the photos I take compliment each other nicely, I’ll post them. I try not to think too much about curating the perfect vibe, I’m afraid it’ll take the fun out of it.
What advice would you give someone looking to find their personal style?
Don’t be afraid of looking odd or ugly. Get out of your comfort zone and you’ll learn what you truly enjoy.
How has your style developed over the years?
I think I’ve always been confident in what I wear, I just feel hotter now. I’ve grown and I feel more womanly. So I think that translates in how I piece certain things together.
What was the though process with styling purple jacket?
You could put on the cotton white tee and blue jeans, and call it a day honestly. (As I’ve done many, many times.) Or, you can go the extra mile and add a cool color/texture. So I did, plus, a dark-purple suede blazer is sooo fall.
What are your thoughts on the mini skirt and boots combo?
It’s a classic outfit combo. Interchangeable. Never fails, I’ll wear it til I die.
Kitten heels seem to be the most dominant in your outfits, what’s your fav way to style them?
It’s my favorite to pair with a mini dress/skirt. I just really like the way it makes my legs look. \
Your style is pretty feminine with a touch of edge/punk. Does it happen naturally or do you plan for it?
I’ve never fully leaned into either side of that. I don’t plan it, but I can’t be in something too feminine or too edgy. I’m greedy and I enjoy aspects of both.
Out of the 5 outfits, which one is the most you?
It’s nothing groundbreaking, but wearing a leather black coat feels habitual. So probably the polka-dots outfit.
